The Cash Championships bare filled out moderately, G. Sutherland and A. R. Barker (Christchurch). R. Conncll (Temuka), A. Huston and H. Holland (Ashburton),and W. Clarkson (Palmeratou North), being among the entrants. The Amateur Championships promise to provide the keenest competition, the entries including \V. Turnbull and E. B. Kcrshaw (New South Walfes>, W. Reynolds and E. H. Cuck«ey (Auckland), H. Amos(Timarn), T. Whitfield, D. Roger, and T. Oatea (Chris tchnrch). At the meeting of tho Council of the League of New Zealand Wheelmen tonight a letter was read from the New South Wales Cyclists' Union that Turn bull and Kershaw will represent the Union at the New Zealand League Championship Meeting. 'The New South Wales League wrote insisting on the recognition of its amateur and cash riders, saying if this was not done it would retaliate and see that no Now Zealand riders are allowed to compete in Australia. Action was deferred.
