A BRITISH PATROL CAPTURED.
GENERAL FRENCH AT WORK. Roceived April 2, 9.11 a.m. London, April '•. — An overwhelming force surrounded a patrol of Marshall's Elorao at Zuurberg mountains, killing the officer and wounding five of the men. The rest surrendered, and were disarmed and released. General French, east of Vryheid, drove the Boers from several positions, killing four and wounding several.
