FUNERAL OF HER LATE MAJESTY THE QUEEN. /^VFFICIAL announcement having been Kj made that SATURDAY, the 2nd Febrnary, will be observed as a DAY OF MOURNING, the interment of our late beloved Queen taking place on that day, it is hereby publicly notified that all shops will be CLOSED, and all business suspended thereon. FRIDAY, the Ist February, will be kept as MARKET DAY within the town of New Plymouth, the shops remaining open until 1 0 p.m.. as on Saturdays. A Solemn Service of Public Worship and Mourning will be held in the Recreation Grounds on SATURDAY, the 2nd February, at an hour to be notified later.
