The Society has recently altered its Rules, making the following important concessions to Borrowing Members :—: — (1) The procuration fee of 1 per cent, has been abolished. (2) The Society now pays the costs of every mortgage, irrespective of the amount borrowed, and (3) Leaseholds, with provisions such ac exist in " perpetual leases "' and " leases in perpetuity," are now accepted atsecurities for loans.
