MAFEKING ALL WELL ON MARCH 27TH.
THE BOEES BREAKING- UP THEIR MAIN LAAGER.
Received April 6, 10.5 a.m. Loxdox, April 5. — Mafeking reports " All Well " on March 27th. The Boers Avere breaking up their main laager Avest of the toAvn, and Avere fighting Avith the natives in the south. Colonel Plumer, on March 25th, by night marches, reached a point near Zeerust and damaged the Boer communications, then returned north of Pitsani, Received April 6. 10.20 a.m. Loxnox, April 6. — In Colonel Pilcher'a recent outpost engagement at Ladybrand, Avhen the Landdrost Avas captured 25 Boers Avere killed. Colonel Pilcher managed to retain the Landdrost, Avho during the fighting at Koornspruit, Avas brought to Bloemfontein.
