On his invitation, as President, the Auckland Bowling Association entertained the local and visiting bowlers, with their wives and daughters, to over the number of 600, in the grounds at an al fresco garden party with unbounded hospitality. A steamer harbour excursion was also given. A friendly match is being played on the load green this afternoon between Feilding and >Jew Plymouth rinks. The. players are : — Feilding : Thompson, Faywell, Young, Dickson (skip).' Now Plymouth : Gold water, Hall, Moray, and Yeale (skip).
