The Secretary reported that Mrs C'arke bad handed him half a guinea towards the priza fund. On the motion of Messrs Tate aud Joll a hearty vote of thanks was passed to the donor for her thoughtful and acceptable dona-

tion. The Secretary was instructed to communicate with the Education Board in referecce to tl a block adjoining the school. On the motion o£ Messri Hignett and Palamontain, Mr Tate waa deputed to wait on tho Education Board in reference to native children atteading tho school. The Secretary reported that everything in connection with tha concert to b 9 held on Thursday evening was woll forward.
