Henry Dramatic Company.
This company announces its first appearance in New Plymouth for this evening, offering as the attraction the new drama, " 7 he Shamrock and Thistle." Thia drama has been previously referred to in these columns, and if it has been iairly desciibed by the press of Dunedin, WeHngton, and (Jhristchurch, ib ia certainly one of (he mos!; remarkable dramas of the day. The story is a good wholesome one, aud is helped by plenty of bright comedy. One of the features of tho piece is the scene depicting the graveyard by moon ight, while the burning of | tho old mill is said to be a masterpiece of the mechanist's art. The well-known scenic artist, Mr AIE Ingleson, is with the company; lime'igho effects are supplied, and an orchestra will help the performances. The box plan is now open at Mr J. Gilmour's.
