For Stoddart's Eleven, Maclaren knocked up 51 before being dismissed by Brockwell, who snapped him up in the slips off Kortwright. His score, like the veteran's, included 10 fours. Mason was stumped by Butt off Townsend for 23; Hayward, not out, 14; Storer, caught Butt, bowled Kortwright, 0.
