Nominations for all haudicaps close with tha secretary at 8 p.m. on Tuesday, December 28tb, 1807, to be accompanied with tho necessary fees. Handicaps will appear about Movday. January 3rd, 1898. The rules of the Hawera Caledonian Society will be strictly adhered to and may be obtained from the secretary. A full knowledge of the rules will be expected from evor3' competitor.
