"] BOKOtTGHI ELECTION. to the £Dr?:>Pw grßj — Your correspondent,- ** East Ender's," remarks, as to the suitability of the three candidates for the seat in the" Council, appears to me to be a little rough on Mr,, IK. O'low. From "East Eaders" wording of hi* letter, the in ferenco may be drawer fcbifc Mr Clow, although he is a shrevrd man <?ad knows his way about, does' not pay 20s in tbo pound. This I should like to see refuted by Mr Clow, as by the way "East Ender's" letter iff worded it may be thought by some that Mr Olow does uot pay his just debts.— l am, &c.,On\js. [Wo are sure East Ender did" not intend any such inference to be drawn front his letter ; iv fact, we cannot see auch inference can be drawn from it. — Ed. T.tL]
