The Labour Journal reports fewer applications for work at Auckland than usual ; not many in Wellington, and the number steadily decreasing during the months ; at Christchurch an average of ton applications during the month ; at Dunedin about the same number as in October ; 15G0 men employed by Government at survey work, 973 by Public Work Department, and 14 at the State farm. / ,
