AN ADVENTURE WITH SHARKS.
Wellington, December 16, A fisherman at Paraparaumu made a haul of twenty-fieo sharks on one line which had 450 hooks baited for schnnpper. None were less than six feet, and one was a tiger shark nearly 18 feet long which bit a piece out of the boat and made a great fight before it was killed. Tlw prevalence of sharks is attributed to the warm weather, and is a warning to bathers on the coasts of the colony.
