GLOOMY REPORTS FROM KLONDYKE.
New York, December 15. A mailman from Dyea reports that 1000 Of the Klondyke refugee? are desperately attemfpfmg to cross the mountains. He estimates thai at least a fourth of these will perish. Food is not purchasable at Dawson City, but there is some hope that reindeer will be utilised for tbe introduction of supplies. Received—December 16, 9.50 a.m.
