Greymouth, September 13.— A wiueh» gave way on board the steanrer Richmond, and a package fell upon AlexanderChase, inficting serious injuiies. Hid legs* were broken, and his head aud body badly crushed.
PalmehstonNobth, September 13. — A man named W. J. Delahunty, a resident of Longburn, wa3 found dead alongside the railway line near Toko Junta oni Sunday. Deceased had a deep gash om the side of his face, and is believed tohave been killed by the up train on> Saturday. He leaves a wife and large* family residing at Longburn.
