Bank of New Zealand shares have after a long absence from the price list assumed a maketable aspect, and a local transaction at 2s 6d per share is worthy of note. This figure is an advance of 150 per cent, on a recent forced sale, and points to an upward tendency. New Plymouth Gas shares are quoted with buyers at £8, which is a considerable advance.
