A man named 'E. J M. Sargent met with an accident on ths East Road, Stratford, on Friday, a limb from a tree falling on him and fracturing his skull. The members of tho Brough Dramatic and Comedy Company were through passengers by the Takapuna this (Saturday) morning. Mr Edgar Walton, the popular baritono of Auckland, will sing the sacred solo, " De Prof undis," during the offertory at St. Mary's Church to-morrow evening.
