PROPOSED DOCK AT WELLINGTON. Wellington, September S. The Harbor Board yesterday again discussed the question of building a dock. The engineer reported that the plans arc not ready, but rough preliminary estimates showed that the Board, muat bo prepared to face an expenditure of £250,000. After a long debate Mr Gale's resolution to introduce a bill authorising the Board to borrow money for the construction of a dock, acquiring 1 additional land, &c, was earned on the casting vote of the Chairman.
