Shepherd (secretary of the Petroleum Co.), and Mr O.JCarrington ; next came a carriage containing Messrs H. McLister, C. Monzies, 0. Webberlcy, and J. Gilbauks, the deceased's fellow employee* oi the Petroleum Works. The pall bearers were Bros. T. Blanchett, S.W., G. Blanchett, J.W , AVainwright, B. Weale, W. Jury, J.\V., and E. Sole, S.D. The hearse containing Captain Turner's remains came in order after a few other carriages. The pall bearers were Messrs ' J. Frazar, T. Inch, tr. Connetfc, Broken- j shire, Lindsay, and W. Vile, members of the Harbor Board staff, to which the late Capt. Turner was attached. The Durial service was conducted by the Rev. C. H. Garland, and then Bro. J. Asher, P.M. gave tho impressive Masonic service. The coffins wore covored with wreaths. KfjCaptain Turner having beeiva Harbour Board employee will come under the New Zealand Accident Insurance Company, whose travelling representative, MrLoßruu. recently fixed up with the Harbour Board tho" insurance of all the employees.
