AUSTRALIANS V. YORKSHIRE, THIRD MATCH.

When stumps were drawn for the day, Yorkshire had lost 5 wickets for 112, the principal scorers being : — Brown 32 Jackson , ... ... 45 Donton , ,„ „, 24 Wainwright (not out) ... ... 11 Gregory, having sustained an injury, was unable to field. Gregory received a nasty blow in the mouth while batting, and had to retire, but on resuming his position at the wickets was out almost directly. Graham and Eady knocked up 65 minutes in 50 minutes, the former showing all his old form. He was batting 85 minutes, and hit up ten fours. McKibbin took DentonandMoorhouae with Buccessive balls. The weather to-day was showery, and the wicket drying afterwards under the. influence of the winds, was all against the batstnep. The attendance was small. * Batting under unfavorable circumstances the remainder of the county team were disposed of for 33 runs. The total of the innings was 145, of which Wainwright made 22 and Lord Hawke 18 (not out). McKibbin was unplayable to-day, and took seven wickets in all. The Australians have so far made 31 /in their second innings without the loss I of a wicket. *
