Stakes Handicap.— Saracen, 1 ; Ngatuere, 2 ; Fabulist, 3. Also started :— Mahaki, The Possible, Anita, and Hotspur. Anita cut oat the running for the first mile after which Mahaki took the lead. There was a great race in tho straight, Saracen beating Ngatuere on the post ; Fabulist close up. A protest was entered against the winner for inconsistent running. Time 2min4osecs. The protest was dismissed. Dividend, £2 16s.
Nursery Handicap.— A rmilla, 1; Decoration, 2; St Paul, 3. Also istarted :— Bavaria and Dooimouse. Decoration was left st the post. A rmilla assumed the lead and won all the way. Decoration, howeve", coming up with a good run. Dividend, £2 129. Time, 51secs. Autum 1 Handicap. — Acone, Bst (Davis), 1 ; Searchlight, 7st 91b, 2 ; St. Luara, 7st 121bs, 3. Kent and Hotspur were the other starters. Won by two lengths. Time, 2mins 1 l-sth sec 3. Dividend, £3 ss.
Second Hack Flat.— Carrick, 7st 71b (J. Hall), 1; Novelty, 71b Illb, 2; Dummy, 9st, 3. Seven otheis ran. Time, lmin 18secs. Dividend, £5 ss. Farewell Handicap.— Sedcebrook, 7st 21b (Watt>, 1 ; Swift, fist 101 b (Moss), 2 ; Johnny Fa», 7st7lb (Connop), 3, Bloomsbury was the only other starter . Time, lmin 45 2-sth sees. Dividend, £3 12s.
