Stratford Cup, a handicap of 125 soys ; second horse to received 20 soys, and third 5 soys from the stakes. Nomination, 30s ; acceptance 60s. U miles. To start; at 1.30 p.m 4. Pony Handicap, of 25 soys ; second horse to receive 5 soys from the stakes. For ponies 14 hands 2 inches and under. Nomination, 10s ; acceptance 15s. 5 furlongs. To start at 2.15 p.m. 5. Cardiff Stakes, of 20 soya; for horses that have never won an advertised race. Entries to close at 2 p.m. on day of race. Entrance, 20s. Catch weights. 4 furlongs. To start at 3 p.m. 6. Midhirst Handicap, of 60 soys; second horso 10 soys from the stakes. Nomination, 20s ; acceptance, 40s. 6 fur longs. To start at 3.45 p.m. 7. Selling Eace, of 20 soys ; wiuner to be sold immediately after the race for 20 soys. Entrance, 20s. Minimum weight. Bst. 5 furlongs. 8. Toko Handicap, of 25 soys; second horse to receive 5 soys from the stakes. Nomination, 10s; acceptance, 15s. 7 furlongs. Weights will appear immediately after tho Midhirst Handicap is run. To start at 5 p.m. All stakes paid in full. Definition of a Hack. — A horse that has never won an advertised race exceeding the value of 40 soys at time of start, and is not nominated at time of entry foi a Derby, Guineas, St. Leger, or Sapling Stakes (Hack, Hunter, arid Pony races excepted). Horses that have won aa advertised race of the value of £25, after the declaration of weights, to carry a penalty of 51bs; if of the value of £40, and over, to carry a penalty of 71bs; penalties not cumulative. The Committee reserve to themselves the right to alter the date of meeting, entry, acceptance, appearing of weights, and order and time of events should they see fit to do so. All races will be run under the Rulea of Sacing adopted by the Metropolitan Racing Clubs of New Zealand. DATES OF NOMINATIONS AND ACCEPTANCES.
