All Nominations, Acceptances, and Entries, accompanied by the necessary amounts, must be addressed to the Secretary, and left at the Pecretar.'s Office, Brougham street, New Plymouth, not later than 9 pm. on the advertised dates of closing. Full particulars of colors, age, and p dijree must be forwarded with the nominations. In all cases where penalties have to be carried for winning, it shall be tbe dntv of the owner, trainer, or jockey, to notify the Secretary on or before Tuesday, 24th Decomber, 1895. Secretary, Opunake, with fees enclosed, and name, description, age, pedigree and performances of tbe horse, name of the owner, and colours of the rider. No entry will be received for any race except upon these conditions : That all disputes, claijas, and objections arising out of the racing shall be decided by a majority of the Stewards present, or those whom they may appoint; their decision upon all points connected with the carrying out of this programme Bhall be final. The winner of any handicap flat race after the publication of the weights to carry a penalty of 71bs in the Flying, [ Racing Club, and New Year Handicaps; penalties not cumulative. A Hack ia a horse that haa never won an advertised race (Hack and Hunter Races excepted), and is not nominated at time of start, and has not during the three months previous thereto, been nominated for any race (Hack and Hunter Races excepted).
