A meeti no of the Committoe of the Taranaki Cricket Association was held at Stratford on Friday night when the folio wing players were selected to go into practise in view of the interprovincial matches -with Nelson and Hawke's Bay, both of which will probably be played during Christmas and New Year holidays, tho former in New Plymouth, providea the Iqco.l grouund is in deeout order, and the latter ut Hawera: — H. Baily, Izard, Harden, Ogle, Monteath, Coppard, Heenau, Con tts, L^k, A. Bayly, (J. 'I. Bayly, F. Moore. Pratt, Mills, tiymn, 11. Elliot, and B. Me. Carthy. Tho Secretary of the Association has received a letter from Ilawlce's Bay Association, stating their teitm will leave as near Christmas Day as possible. The Moa C. C. (Seniors) und Bell Block C. C. 1 Juniors) were affiliatedIt was decided tq draw out the lists for Benjor and junior fixtures, A match between Now Plymouth and Moa combined v. Stratford was played on the lattor'a ground on Saturday, and resulted in a win for Stratford, The pitch is reported to have been an unplayable one.
