WEDDING AT ST MARY'S.

An exceedingly pretty wedding took place this (Monday) afternoon at St Mary's Church, when Mr F, J. "Webb, of Pnrangi, was married to Miss Nellie Cotton, daughter of Mrs Tisch, of the Terminus Hotel. The ceremony was performed by the Yen Archdeacon Govett. The church was well filled with friends and spectators. Amongst those present 1 -we noticed the bride's mother, Mr and MrsJ. Fischer, with his usual thoughtfolness, hid a carpet laid down from the carriage to the church' door. * After the ceremony tha party were driven to the residence of tho bride's mother, the Terminus Hotel, where the gcests partook of some light refreshment, and drank the health of the happy couple, who leave this evening on their honeymoon trip, to catch the Bimutaka, in which steamer they'have booked their passage for England. The bride's travelling dress was a pretty fawn Timaru tweed, trimmed with tweed, toque en suite. The costumes were from Blyth & Co., and made by Miss Butler, and reflect great credit on that establishment. The wedding cake, which was a two tier, was fnade by MrF. Freeman, of Christchurch.
