— _ » ■ THE AD JOUBNED INQUEST.. '. [per press association.] Invercaxgim,, May 29.— The inquest in connection with the Dean baby farming cases was continued this morning. Detective Herbert deposed that when Charles Dean was shown the bodies of the infants, just afer they were dug up, he said '-My God, I suppose I')l be brought into this. 'I know nothing about it." .Witness found in Minnie Dean's bedroom, undor the mirror, a bottle containing about half a teaspoonful of liquid labelled " chlorodyne," and'nlßo another bottle. THosd kiM been handed to Professor Black. The head of one infant whon dug up was bont forward, on tho breast, and the back was curved. Mr Mac Donald, Grown prosecutor, stated that ' Professor Black, the most material witness/. was now engaged in a' grave matter in Duhedin. An adjournment was granted till Tuesday afternoon, by which time it is ejtpectod that an inquest on the other child, Eva Hornsoy, will have boon competed.
