[FROSI OUR OWN COKRnSPONDENT.] April 22. — The householder*' meeting for the ensuing yoai elicted bub little interest. Eleven gentlemen were nominated the ballot resulting in the election of the following: — Messrs Cutficld. Foreman, Roebuck, Wareham, Andrews^ Wilson Juu., and Swaysland. Mr Cutfiold was chosen chairman for the ensuing j oar. Mr W. Gray, with his usual enterprise, has erected a bakery on a central section in the township. Tho oven was built by Mr Hooker, and though porhaps not the largest yet the roost substantial in the Province. The bakehouse- adjoining was erected by Messrs Keningston and Corbett. I believe Mr Swaysland will manage the business. The effects of the lato gale are pain ■ fully visible now. of course the more tender trees and vegetation generally have fared in proportion.

The now cemetery is now an accomplished fact, being ploughed and sown iv grass and fenced. I bulieve the community are indebted to Messrs W. Andrews and J. O'Connor, who have dono tho work gratuitously. Perhaps some other patriotic individual will plant border trees.
