INGLEWOOD.
[from our own correspondent.] DnccMUER 13. — A start was made last . Sunday to collect subscriptions for building a new Catholic Church at luglovrood,. whenthe sum of £209 was subscribed in a few minutes. This is a good beginning, •md more especially when it is considered* that there are no rich persons connected with that church in the district. I am sure it will not be very long before a good handsome church will be erected in Inglewood, and there is no doubt that it is much wanted, there not being half room, for the congregation in the present one. . The new Wesleyan Church is nearcompletion, and Messrs Vickers smdj Stevens' new buildings are being rapidlyput up. The ordinary monthly meeting of theIngfewood Domain Board was held in the Institute on December 10- Present : Messrs H. Brown (chairman^, Carstens, Clough, McKenzie, and Tarplee 1 .
