TARANAKI CRICKET ASSOCIATION.
TnE annual general meeting was held at Hawera on Friday evening last, when the following officers and delegates were present :— Major Tuke, president ; G. T. Bayly, G. Syme. C. H. Warden, J. WagBtaff, A. Cleland, and G. \V. Harden (hon sec). The rules were discussed at some length and with a few amendments were adopted. The following officers were elected for the ensuing season:—President, Major Tuke ; Vice-President, Dr Westenra (Hawera C,C.) ; Captain Cornwall (N.P.C.C.), N. K. MacDiarmid (United C. C), H. Southy (Hawera Star C.C.), Brennan (Opunake United C.C.). Stratford and Clifton (Waitara) clubs to be nominated ; Hon Sec and Treasurer, G. W. Harden. Selection Committee : G. T. Bayly, J. Wagstaff, G. C. Heeuan. Appeal Committee : Captain Cornwall (Vice-President), A. QJeland, and G. H. Harden (Hon Sec). The cup rules and fixtures were left, owing tc lateness of the hour, to the Appeal Committee to arrange, it having been decided to have such fixtures for both senior and junior teams.
