Melbourne-,* September 17. The hundred-mile bicycle road race was won by Beeson, in six hours fifty-nine sees. Eighteen of the competitors finished. Sydnet, September 16. The H.M.S. Ringarooma was floated off the reef with the assistance of the French warship, Duchaffadlt, and the steamer Croydon, and is not making much water.
