At the Hayiaarket, on Saturday, pigs were rather slow of sale compared with late prices. Slips made 4s Od to (is ; larger sizes 10s Od. Hacks made £3 to K5 10s. At the mart, fowls made lid to Is 4d. chicks (id, ducka Is 3d to Is sd. Pekiu ducks 2s Id, potatoes 2s Od to 4s (the latter being prime circulars), onions IJd, good bacon 6J<l, inferior 3£d. A lot of sundries made failprices. Fruit. —During the week bananas made Jd to 2jd, according to condition. Tahiti oranges 7s, pears 4s 6d to 4s 9d per half case, quinces ss, peanuts ljcl per lb, cocoanuts 7s per sack, walnuts 5d per fb. Cattle. —The yards were fairly filled at Stony River on AVednesday with a very nice qualtiry of stock, and prices were in accordance with late sales. Calves made 17s to 27s ; yearlings, 39s ; fat cows, £4 4s; bull, £1 10s. Dairy cattle were haid to sell, and one pen of springing heifers made £4 12s (id. At the Horse Fair at Pnngnrebu on Thuisday, between 80 and 90 horses were yarded, the quality being considerable better than at last sale, prices ranging from £1 15s to £12. 2-year-old draught fillies £10 5s to £12 : 2year geldings, £1110s ; yeailings, £5 7o (id to £5 17s 6d ; hack^ ranging from £3 to £5.
