HOME RULE BILL IN COMMITTEE. (per press association) London, June 13 — In Committee, in the Housn of Commons, tho amendments moved to the Home Rule Bill in favor of including tha marriage and divorce law among the subjects which the Irish Legis jature were forbidden to legislate upon, were negatived by 34. Mr Gladstone, speaking to the amendment, said that tbe marriage laws of the colonies, which differ from those of Great Britain, were vetoed again and again, yet th« colonies won the day in the end. London, June 14. — In the Houce of Commons to-day, clause 3 of the Home Rule Bill, denning eubjects in respect of which the Irish Legislature shall not havo power to make laws was agreed to. The last eight amendments to the clause were ruled out of order. The Uniouiat Press regard tho agreement between Mr Sexton and Mr Healy as only a temporary one. Tho charges were referred to in the House to-day, when Mr Morley denied the truth of the atcubation, but absolutely refused to institute an action for libel again t the paper.
