COLOMAL PRODUCE TRADE.

London, June 12.

Mr Geddes, of Sydney, has arranged with a syndicate to run monthly steamers, beginning in October, to carry meat and fruit from Sydney to , England and Continental ports. He has also arranged that the steamer Port Chalmers shall take 10,000 carcases of mntton from Sydney in September. It is the intention of Mr Geddes to visit the Continent shortly. He is armed with letters to the British Embassies, and will seek interviews with the authorities in Germany, France, and Belgium as to the feasibility of introducing colonial products into.tlnse countries. Mr R. H. Glyn, chairman of the Bank of New Zealand, is pushing on the colonising scheme, and founding agencies in various parts of the country.
