■■ " ♦ BALFOUR VISITS DUBLIN. [PER PRESS ASBOCIATUW.] London, April 6 —Ihe Hon. Mr Balfour paid a visit to Dublin, whero ho was cordially welcomed. In the course of a speech he declared hh> supremo confidence that (he conflict over the Home Rale question would have a happy issue.
Messrs H. WestoD, D. Berry, and Capt. Cornwall, Joetices of the Peace, Bat thiß (Friday) morning and revised the jury list (EDglish and Maori) for the district of Taranaki. Several name 3 were struck off and several were added. DrF. Truby King, resident physician of the Seacliff Asylum, Dunedin, is in town. To morrow Mr Newton King will hold an important sale of properties at his mart, the principal of which is tho interest of Mr Joshua Jones in tho leases of Mokau and Mohakatino Blocks. A number of town sections which are to bo Bold under tho Rating Act, will no doubt attract a good deal of attention from speculator? and persons in want of residential Bites ; while the sale of Mr W . Cottier's farm at Okato, which is to be offered in conveni-ently-sized lots, should bring together persons in want of well situated farms within convenient distance of New Plymouth.
