Our lnc.il athletes are starting training for the Boxing Bay sports. Tho long jump promises to be an interesting event, judging from the form displayod by ono or two of the cracks at a littlo friondly competition last evening. I think, howevor, that tho other end of the day ib generally considered more suitablo for such exercises. The heavy Scotch mist which prevailed about 11.30 last evening; might havo had a very prejudicial effect in the absence of suitable restoratives.
