About 4CO spectators assembled on tho racecourse on Thursday afternoon to witness tho Junior Cup match between the above clubs. The Tukapa had the benefit of tho v md the first spell, but were unablo to score In the second spell tho Star pressed tho Tukapa hard on a couplo of occasions. Tho game thus ended in a draw. As an exhibition of football, tho game was not interesting, as it was nothing but a series of scrums, and somo of tho players on both sides appeared "to go" for each other in proferenro to the ball. Tho Tukapu team are winners of this ycur's cup, having a win and a draw (3 points). Clifton has one win (2 points), and Star 11. a draw (1 point). Mr Kingsley acted as referee on Thursday, and Messrs A. Eivell and J, Elliot as line umpires
