POST OFFICE HOLIDAYS.
The 25th instant and Ist January are close holidays. On Boxing Day the office will be open from 9 am. to 10 a.m. On the evenings of the 24th and 31st instants, tho office will be open from 7to 8 p.m. for delivery of letters over tlie counter. Mails usually despatched on the days on which Christmas and Now Year's Day fall will be closed the preceding nights at 7 o'clock. On Boxing Day the usual despatch up to 10 a.m., and there will be one complete delivery "by lottor carrier at 8 a.m. Sunday hours will bo observed in the private box lobby on Christmas and ' _ Now Year's Day. The Railway Travelling Post Office will run aa usual. TELKunAPH Branch. — Office hours on the 25th and 26th December and Ist January, 9 a.m. to 10 a.m., and 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. F. D.
