WELLINGTON ELECTION.
MR McLEAN ADDRESSES MEETING.
|VBR PRESS ASSOCIATION. I Wellington, December 4.— Mr McLean, the candidate for the city, addressed a meeting last night. He condemned the Atkinson administration and appointments to the Legislative Council. Ho advocated the Land Tax on value of all land exclusive of improvements, and would reform the Legislative Council out of existence. The Premier addressed the meeting, announcing the Government were supporting McLean. Mr Buick, M.H.R., also spoke. A vote of confidence in Mr McLean was carried .
