VERDICT FOR £1400.
[PKl< PUfSS ARSOOIAIION. | Blenheim, Decomber 2. — In the Supreme Court, in tho case of Charles , Luca«» v. the Colonial Bank, claim for the refund of £600, amount of a promissory note alleged to have been wrongfully obtained by the Bank, and damages for wrongful sale by the Bank, as mortagees, of the plaintiff's farm, the jury found for the plaintiff f or the amount of the promissory note, and £420 damages for sale of the farm, which, with interest, amounts altogether to nearly £1400.
