[from ouk own correspondent.] November 30. — Tho gymnasium members did not turn up in large numbers on Saturday night last. It is evident that those who did roll up tako pleaauro in practising with tbe boxing gloves. The following are tho names and incogs, of those who entered the ring. I may here state that none of those to d horn I gave the incognomens demrred in tho lease, with the exception, of a boy and an Inglewood Chinaman, and ns I live in a country whero people expect to be addressed by even the most trivial titles on all occasions, I trust I may bo excused for having offended en that point. First match, J. Hignett and Beedle; here was some good sparring. J. Allainan ann'l Morohouse (the " game W), Beedlo and R. Old— there was some good sparing In this match, with some hard 'uns iv tho spigastrum. Again the Liverpool Pet and tho Long 'tin for nearly an hour. There was give and " take as you liko it " between S. Allaman • and tho " Gurae "un." Some neat sparring took place between Ben Codd and R. Old ; also the Liverpool Pet and tho Polisher. The affair was wound up by Mr J. Toohy, with some good sparring. There was one more added to the number on Saturday night, who paid down his 10s.
