Mails will be closed at the Chief Postoffice, Devon-street, as follows: — For Wellington and South, per s.s. Mahinapua, close to-moirow (Saturday), October 10th, at 8 a.m. gag* For East Coast of South America, United Kingdom, and Europe, via Rio, per s.s. Tainui (from Wellington), close on Friday, October 16tb, at 6 a.m. For money orders on Thursday (October 15th), at 4 p.m. For registered letters and parcels at 5 p.m. Mail due at London November 28.
