DRINKING FOUNTAIN FOR TE HENUI CEMETERY.

TO THE EDITOR. Sir, — I appeal to you to draw attention to the want of a drinking fountain in tho cemetery. Our summer is coining on, and I think wo ought to havo some sort of drinking fountain for the convenience of the public. I believe if there was a subscription list started a great number of people would give a trifle towards it, as it would be a great boon to many, especially those who go there to water flowers on relatives' graves. There ought to have been a drinking fountain there years ago. The cemetery is a beautiful spot, and everything should be done to further beautify the last resting-place of those who have gone before us. Should a subscription list be started, I will gladly give my mite towards it. I hope some of your numerous readers will take this matter up, and let us see if something can be dono before the hot summer weather sets in. — I am, &c, Citizen. [Wo shall be glad to acknowledge any subscriptions that may be given towards j t is object.— Ed. T.H.I I
