AUSTRALIAN J.C. SPRING MEETING. Sydney, September 17.— At the third day's racing of the Australian J.C. Spring Meeting, there was a fair attendance. Results :—: — Hurdles. — Grandson, 1 ; Fog 2 ; Killarney, 3. Montrose 11., and Bella fell. Kemp was on the Jatter, and lies in a critical condition. A grand race. Won by a head. Time, 2min 59£secs Craven Plate. — Marvel, 1 ; Megaphone, 121 2 ; Melos, 3. Sir William also started. 1 It was a great race, and was won by half a neck. Time, 2min llsec. Suburban Handicap. — Hero, 1 ; Garuda, 2 ; Recluse, 3. Won easily by three lengths. Time, lmin 29sec. ; Foal Stakes. — Oxide, 1 ; Stromboli, 2 ; I Sunshine, 3. Stromboli led to the distance, ' when he was overtaken by Oxide, who won by half a length. Time, 2min 16sec. WrooMBE Stakes.— Bungebah, 1 ; Aster, 2 ; Albearle, 3. Won easily. Time, 2min 30£ sec. Sydney Handicap.— Cobham, 1 ; Jack, 2 ; Palliser, 3. Won by throe lengths. Time, 2min 38sec.
