NEW PLYMOUTH NEWSPAPERS.
Now Plymouth is well supplied with newspapers. The Taranaki Herald, which was started in 1852, id one of the oldest established papers in the colony. It camo out finst as a daily in 1877, and at th<) same time tho proprietor issued The Budget as a weekly paper for the country readers. These two papers have a large circulation, not only within the district whore they are published, but in other parts of the colony, in Australia, Englaud, and United States. Tho Taranaki Nc »n is also published daily, and has a weekly issue.
