Captain Edwin wired this afternoon :— " Every indicatation of frost to-night." Tbe adjourned first meeting of creditors in the estate of Albert Bishop lapsed this (Saturday) afternoon for want of a quorum. The Coroner (Mr C. C. Kettle), and Inspector Pardy drove out to Mangorei this (Saturday) afternoon in order to hold an enquiry into tho burning down of the stables of Mr Martin Petrie. The fire, it will be remembered, occurred about two weekß ago.
