JUBILEE CELEBRATIONS.
A meeting of the Jubilee Committee was hold in the Council Chambere on Friday night. Present : Messrs J. Bellringer (chairman), Bauchopo, Gold water, Da via F. Webster, Standish, MacDiarinid, and Cock. The accounts of the Jubilee Exhibition Committee were sent in, showing a debit balance of £48 10a 3d. These accounts and all other accounts were passed for payment. The Committee decided to hand all the Chinese lanterns in their possession to the Recreation Board ; that all Guide Books on hand be handed over to th.c Scenery Preservation Committee ; that all guarantors who subscribed over £i Is to the fund shall have the excess returned.
