At. the meeting of the Hospital and Charitable Aid Board this (Wednesday) morning,, Mr Heslop brought up tho question* of a charitable aid recipient reeeiviug a lease from the Crown, its he alleged it was a case of " dummyism. The matter was fully discussed by the Board, and a resolution was passed in respect to the matter. . The New Zealand Accident Insurance Co., after a. lapse of about three years, have resumed business in Taranaki, Mr F. P. Corkill having tbe agency for the district.
