WANGANUI RACES. (per press assooiation.J FIRST DAY— Wednesday. Wangandj, March ' 11. — It is lovely weather for the races, but very hot. The course is in splendid order. Results :— Hurdles.— Sentinel, 1; Montrose 11., 2; Myrtle, 3. Won easily by four lengths. Time, 4min 35ses. Dividend, £6 16s. The Peer and Comet fell. Cup.— Dudu, 1; Cynisca, 2; Weka, 3. Won easily by two lengths. Recluse and Kiekie also started. Two-year-old Stakes. — Tirailleure, 1 ; Cretonne, 2; Rosefeldt, 3. Won by a length after a good race. Dividend, £2. j
