The Education Board election has resulted in the return of Messrs Olson (16 votes), Kelly (15), and Faull (13), the old members. Messrs S. Hill (12) and Clarke (5) were the othericandidatos. Very few people— except the^ Irsh members immediately concerned — know who are paid members and who are not. The Pali Mall Gazette believes, however, that twenty of the Parnellitios are paid mombors, and ten of the Patriots, The ordinary pay of a salaried member of the party is said to be £200 a year.
