Results: — January Handicap. — Whisper, 1 ; Rosebud, 2 ; Orator, 3. An excellent race, Whisper winning by a quarter of a length. Time, 2min 2 2-sth sec. Div., £2 11s. Hurdles. — The Spy, 1; Jacob, 2; Clyde, 3. Clyde led to the straight, when The Spy came up and won easily by two lengths. Time, 3min 27 l-sth sec. Div , £1 9s.
